Reimplante de Mano y Muñeca

Reimplantación se refiere a la reinserción quirúrgica de una parte del cuerpo (tal como un dedo, la mano o del dedo del pie) que ha sido completamente cortado del cuerpo. El objetivo de la cirugía de reimplantación es para volver a colocar y restaurar la función de la mayor cantidad de la parte lesionada posible.

A veces, la reimplantación de una parte del cuerpo perdida no es posible debido a que la parte está demasiado dañada. Si la parte perdida no pueda reponerse, un paciente puede tener que usar una prótesis, un dispositivo que sustituye a una parte faltante del cuerpo. En algunos casos, una prótesis puede dar a una persona sin manos o brazos la capacidad de funcionar.

Un reimplante se recomienda generalmente cuando la parte replantado trabajará al menos tan bien como una prótesis. Por ejemplo, un cirujano no se vuelva a colocar una mano perdida sabiendo que no iba a funcionar, será doloroso, o en el camino de las actividades diarias del paciente.
Antes de la cirugía, el médico le explicará el procedimiento y la cantidad de funciones es probable que vuelva después de la reimplantación. El paciente o un familiar deben decidir si recuperar el uso de la parte del cuerpo que justifica el largo y difícil operación, tiempo en el hospital, y meses o años de rehabilitación.

Procedimiento

Para volver a sembrar con éxito un dedo perdido, el cirujano debe reparar huesos, arterias, nervios, músculos y tendones.
Hay una serie de pasos en el proceso de la reimplantación. En primer lugar, el tejido dañado se retira cuidadosamente. Entonces, extremos de los huesos se cortan antes de que se vuelvan a unir. Esto hace que la elaboración de los tejidos blandos en cualquiera de los lados de la herida más fácil.

Por ejemplo, en una lesión en la yema del dedo, el número de centímetros de la lesión a la punta de un dedo proporciona una estimación del número mínimo de meses después de lo cual el paciente puede comenzar a sentirse algo con que la punta del dedo.

Terapia física y rehabilitación

La curación completa de la lesión y las heridas quirúrgicas es sólo el comienzo de un largo proceso de rehabilitación. La fisioterapia y refuerzo provisorio son importantes para el proceso de recuperación.
Los apoyos se utilizan desde el principio de proteger los tendones recién reparados, y para permitir que el paciente se mueva la parte replantada. Ejercicios de terapia física se utilizan para evitar que las articulaciones se pongan rígidas, para mantener los músculos en movimiento, y para reducir al mínimo la formación de tejido cicatricial.
Incluso después de una recuperación total, los pacientes de reimplantación pueden encontrar que no pueden hacer todo lo que quieren hacer o hacían antes de la lesión y la cirugía.   • Tendón o transferencia muscular: se mueven los tendones o los músculos para un área que necesita el tendón o músculo más
  • Injerto del nervio: reemplaza un nervio con cicatrices o una brecha en los nervios para mejorar cómo funciona el nervio
  • Amputación tardía: elimina la última parte, ya que no funciona o se ha convertido en dolorosa

Resultados

La parte replantado nunca recupera 100 % de su uso original y la mayoría de los médicos consideran 60 % a 80 % un resultado excelente. En términos generales, los pacientes que no han causado daño a la articulación obtendrán un mayor movimiento hacia atrás de los que tienen. Una parte de corte limpio por lo general funciona mejor después de la reimplantación de uno que ha sido aplastado o se quitó.

Los pacientes más jóvenes tienen una mejor oportunidad de crecimiento de sus nervios de nuevo en comparación con los adultos. Pueden recuperarse más sentimiento, y pueden recuperar más movimiento en la parte replantada.
El clima frío puede ser incómodo para los pacientes con las partes del cuerpo replantados. Es una queja frecuente, incluso para aquellos con una excelente recuperación.
